STEM THE ART at OCEAA - December

STEM THE ART visited OCEAA in December and taught students about the genre of science fiction! Students learned about astronomy and planetary science by examining Earth's moon and the different planets of our solar system.

Students used Oreo cookies to visualize the different moon phases. Afterwards, students examined fictional planets from Star Wars and took inspiration from them to design their own fictional planets!
